Randomized controlled trial of ultrasound-guided PRP injection in 60 patients with piriformis syndrome (PS), a common entrapment neuropathy. Patients received a single session of either PRP or saline; VAS pain and ODI scores were measured at 1 week and 1 month. PRP group showed greater early improvement, with similar 1-month outcomes between groups, suggesting repeat injection may be needed for long-term effect.
